Super Quick Sponge Bob on a budget

This is a quick an easy way of decorating a baked or bought cake. 

If you want a photo / picture cake but can't afford the printed rice paper, then take your picture to be laminated.  Then all you do is ice your cake!  Remember to ice the top of the cake before placing the picture on top, to prevent your picture sliding off your cake.  For the final transformation simply ice around the border and around the picture. 

Quick and easy, and it still looks good.  Just remember to take the plastic off before cutting the cake!

Useful Tip: If you do not want to bake the cake yourself, but want to decorate it as above, then you can check with your local Spar or Checkers to see if they sell pre-made sponge cakes that you can ice)
